Dear Parents,

Greetings!

We are pleased to inform you that Arise International School is hosting a One-Day Rapid Chess Tournament – “Khelo Dimaag Se – Season 4”, organised by Super Kings Chess Club (SKCC) on the occasion of National Sports Day.

We invite our students to participate enthusiastically and make the most of this wonderful opportunity to showcase their chess skills.

Competition Details

- Event: One-Day Rapid Chess Tournament – Khelo Dimaag Se, Season 4
- Date: Saturday, 29 August 2026
- Venue: Arise International School, Bhosari, Pimpri-Chinchwad – 411026
- Reporting Time: 9:00 a.m.
- Registration Fee for Arise Students: ₹500/-
- Last Date for Registration: Wednesday, 26 August 2026

Age Categories

The tournament will be conducted in the following categories:

- Under-9 (U-9)
- Under-11 (U-11)
- Under-13 (U-13)
- Under-16 (U-16)
- Open Category

Students participating in the Mini Groups (U-9, U-11, U-13 and U-16) will receive an Appreciation Medal.

Important Instructions

1. All participating students must report at the venue by 9:00 a.m.
2. Parents are requested to send sufficient food and snacks  for their child for the duration of the competition.
3. Parents are welcome to stay at the venue and watch the competition.
4. Parents/students are requested to refer to the attached poster/PDF for detailed information regarding the tournament, categories and other requirements.
5. The registration QR code is provided in the attached poster/PDF. Participants may scan the QR code to complete their registration.
6. All interested students must complete their registration on or before 26 August 2026.
7. Registrations received after the timeline will not be accepted.
8. Students are encouraged to participate with sportsmanship, discipline and enthusiasm.
9. Parents are requested to pick and drop the child at the venue.

Chess is an excellent way to develop concentration, strategic thinking, decision-making, patience and problem-solving skills. We encourage our students to actively participate and make this opportunity a memorable learning experience.
