Awareness Alert: Online Safety Concern
17-09-2025

With the growing popularity of online games, there is an increasing risk of children forming large groups, chatting with unknown individuals, and making online payments for game-related points without parental consent. Such situations, if left unchecked, can disrupt the learning environment and pose serious risks to student's safety and well-being. Equally important is protecting the privacy of online activities. Children should be made aware that they must never share personal details, photos, contact information, or One-Time Passwords (OTPs) with anyone. OTPs are strictly confidential and can be misused to make unauthorized payments or access personal accounts. We encourage all parents to remain vigilant and to regularly monitor their child’s online activities. By guiding children toward safe and responsible digital habits, we can work together to ensure their security and overall development. Student's safety comes first.
